| My first cooked meal for Richard - Piña Bistek from the reliable del Monte Kitchenomics He was craving for pininyahang adobo but the chicken i bought was frozen and the staff from the grocery didn't want to chop it (madudurog daw) so i had to defrost it at home and chop it myself. So, i prepared to marinate the beef instead since it was easier to prepare. I think i got at least a 90 for this recipe. Dagdagan ko daw ng sauce next time. E sinunod ko lang naman ung recipe e! hehe the downside of being a Math major... you know what i mean?

| it's our first christmas and new year as a couple... and we spent it alternately with both our families. dec 24 in Tondo. dec 25 in Fairview. Dec 31 in Tondo, Jan 1 in Fairview. Mahirap na at bka may magtampo. I am used to not living with my parents since i've been staying at the boarding house for almost 3 years already. Pero, the first two weeks, i missed my parents, specially my mom and my eldest brother Noel, who quit his job in Saudi to be at my wedding. love you kuya!

channel 23 had the tv series '24' on marathon from 10 am to 6 pm last Dec 31 and Jan 1. haha we forgot to eat lunch on both days... we we're hooked! i think it was the 2nd season. They ran a marathon of the first season last holy week. Sana yung 3rd season ang ipalabas nila sa weekly series.

so, we're still settling down. we just received our first meralco bill (70+ pesos only) for the month of December. May ref at kalan na kaya magstart na ang 'home-cooked meals'. We've been buying our dinners from the karinderia for the past weeks kasi wala pang stove. i've already asked my officemates how to cook adobo. hehe i do know how to cook, well at least the concept of it. (tinola in baguio? masarap nman db?) ... i now have a reason to go home early... magsasaing pa kasi ako.
oo nga pala, thanks to don & melods for the rice cooker, sherwin for the knives (hahaha may ibang kahulugan ba ito?!) and a set of spoon and fork, jie for the serving bowl and to john and rheena for the rustans GC that we used to puchase 2 large pillows.
haven't really had time to evaluate the past year and ponder about this new year. But i do know 2005 was a blessed year for me, and that God has a lot more instore for me this year.
so... to all of us, God bless us this year 2006!
| HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOLKS!

| and am back!
thanks to all who were able to attend my wedding!
i hope you enjoyed it. . . was quite a breeze for me, thank God for photo-video people to capture the moments. i'm here at the office because there's a big project with deadline within the week. plus i am not yet entitled to any leaves, ganun din si chard. wala na kmeng sasahurin kung puro absent. we wouldn't want to start the year with empty pockets. plus we weren't able to plan for any honeymoon.
anyway, am not feeling very well today. my cough and colds awakened this weekend. i think am coming up with a fever. sigh.
the house ofcourse is still a mess. gifts are lying on the floor. (pen, ung mini scrapbook nga pala?) we don't have a chair. we have clothes for laundrying. its tiring... and fun at the same time. you get to think of all the small details... from the dustpan, to the toilet scrubs, sofa, chairs, palanggana, hanger. . . mahal ng hanger sa mall ha! 6 pcs mga 60 pesos! grabe. shopping!!
